Apex Insulation Inc. is a certified Insulation Energy Appraiser. We are qualified to use complex software to evaluate the thermal performance of insulated and/or uninsulated systems, i.e., steam systems to refrigeration, HVAC systems and everything in between. The software used evaluates the thermal performance of the insulated versus the uninsulated piping and equipment in your facility and translates the Btu losses into actual dollars. We can also calculate greenhouse gas emissions.

The customized program calculates how much insulation is necessary to reduce NOx, CO2 and Carbon Equivalent (CE) emissions. It also calculates how much energy is saved through applying a range of insulation thicknesses, as well as the dollar cost savings realized through the prevention of energy waste. The information is then provided in the final report to the customer.
